Hexie...Quilting

Hexagon is one of my flavourite pattern ,any kind of method. This one I used paper foundation, kind of too much work he he. I trace pattern on paper one by one , then cut them off ,glue on fabric ,fold the edge and  sew-basted  all all of them . Well ,then  put seven of them together ,to form it like flower.

I kept all small pieces in  basket and made them while i did night shiefts before , to keep me a wake ^ ^.

Finally, I gave up the original idea that it gonna be a big piece. I put it on white bachground instead.

Also added some square scrap along the boarder.

All done by hand through year,

Now it's used in TV room in a cold night .

This year I  have more flower around gerden, make my retreat corner more cosy  than before.
